Premiere of HydrAton 1642 and XpertJet 1682UR at Drupa
At Drupa in Düsseldorf, we previewed our brand new HydrAton 1642 water-based UV printer as well as our XpertJet 1682UR UV roll-to-roll printer.
The MUTOH HydrAton 1642 (64" - 162 cm wide) printer represents a new technology segment, featuring revolutionary print/dry technology and a unique ink film formation process on the printed media, collaboratively developed by MUTOH Japan’s large-format printer R&D division and Fujifilm’s AQUAFUZE™ ink technology team.
The new XpertJet 1682UR is MUTOH’s first roll-to-roll UV LED printer based on the award-winning XpertJet printer platform. This dual-headed 64 inch (162 cm) wide printer uses MUTOH’s environmentally friendly SVHC1 free US61 series inks, available in C, M, Y, K, White and Varnish 800 ml ink packs.
